Spain has invested heavily in the development of international airports, including Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, and Alicante. The two nearest airports are Alicante and Valencia.

Oliva is located mid-way between Alicante (to the south) and Valencia (to the north) so both airports give easy access and both are only a few minutes drive from the main coastal motorway. The journey time from either Alicante or Valencia to the Oliva exit of the motorway, is about 50 minutes.

Budget & low cost airlines regularly fly to both Alicante or Valencia, although Alicante usually has the greatest choice of airlines & flight times.

Alicante is extremely busy during the summer months, and can resemble Gatwick in terms of the numbers of passengers transiting the terminal. Valencia is a more relaxed airport, which resembles the provincial airports of the UK such as Bristol, Norwich or Bournemouth. Generally the best deals can be found on Alicante flights because of the volume of traffic.

Both airports are full international airports, with easy links to the motorway, and on site hire car provision.
